CURRICULUM |
San Carlos Park Elementary
is a family friendly school where the progress of children
comes first. Our mission is to develop students who are
lifelong learners and productive, cooperative citizens.
Teachers use a team approach to deliver an integrated
curriculum. High academic expectations are achieved by
focusing on the teaching of basic skills in an active
learning climate. Technology is used daily as a tool for
developing the writing process and practicing math and
reading skills. Classroom settings provide inclusion models
for students receiving ESE and ESOL services using
individualized, goal-oriented assessment in a nurturing
environment. Preparing students to learn includes
implementing a school wide curriculum of responsibility that
is firm, fair and consistent.
