Printable Dress Code


UNIFORM POLICY and DRESS CODE

Shirts/Blouses:

ANY solid in color, knit polo style with at collar.

  • ●Short or long-sleeved, or oxford shirts for both boys and girls.

  • ●All shirts must be tucked in.

  • ●NO LOGOS larger than a quarter.

  • ●No stripes, checks, patterns, or sleeveless shirts.

 

Shorts/Pants/Jumpers/Skorts/Skirts/Capris: 

Solid Navy Blue or Khaki Tan in color which fit loosely and secured at the waist- uniform brand/style in shorts, pants, skirts, skorts, jumpers or capris.

  • ●Absolutely NO tight fitting, skinny style, or jean style- even if they are tan, Khaki or blue.

  • ●Leggings, lycra, denim, spandex fabric, joggers, or cargo type bottoms are NOT permitted.

  • ●5 pocket style and rivets are NOT permitted- even if the correct color.

  • ●Draw string style, elastic at the ankle style, and any other version not Uniform Type are Not

         permitted.

  • ●Bottoms can be no shorter than 4 inches above the knee.

  • ●All bottoms must be worn at the waist and may not drag on the ground.

  • ●All clothing with belt loops must be worn with a solid color belt.

 

Sweaters/Jackets/Sweatshirts:

SOLID NAVY BLUE with zipper front or buttons with or without a school logo are permitted to be worn inside the building and in class.

  • Hoodies, jackets or sweaters not in SOLID NAVY BLUE must be taken off upon entering the building.

  • Hats, gloves, mittens, and non-uniform jackets or coats are only permitted OUTSIDE on cold days.

  • Layering long-sleeved shirts under short-sleeved polo shirts is NOT permitted.

  • Outerwear may NOT be worn tied around the waist.

 

Shoes:

  • Shoes must be closed toe, closed heel, and no higher than ½ inch. Sneakers or leather shoes are best.

  • No boots, sandals or platforms are permitted.

  • Only solid color ankle length socks or tights may be worn. No printed socks, leggings, or “footless tights” are permitted.

 

School Spirit T-shirts:

  • School Spirit T-shirts with logo and school club t-shirts, approved by administration, may be worn on Fridays with School Uniform Bottoms.

 

What not to wear: 

  • ●No distracting or outrageous hair styles/cuts/coloring/weaves which bring unnecessary attention or cause a disruption to the educational environment. Hair-color, hair extensions, hair attachments must be of a natural growing coloring.

  • ●No bandanas, triangle scarves, wide headbands or bows or large hair accessories (i.e. metal cat ear headbands or floral headbands).

  • ●No temporary tattoos or henna tattoos.

  • ●No large, dangling earrings or necklaces.

  • ●No excessive wrist bands/bracelets.

  • ●No long or fake fingernails.

  • ●No makeup, lipstick, eyeliner or mascara.Clear lip balm is permitted.

 

In addition to the School Based Mandatory Uniform Policy, the District Student Dress Code stated in the Code of Conduct is also enforced. This dress code may be revised at any time during the year. The final decision as to whether an item is appropriate for school rests with the school administration.

 

NOTE:  Students arriving at school out of uniform will be given a written notice to take home and a ONE TIME courtesy loan from our donated uniform supply.  Thereafter, parents will be called to bring appropriate uniform clothing to school. Parents are asked to launder and return borrowed uniform items. Parents of students continuously violating the dress code will be called by school administration.

Políticas para El Uso Obligatorio del Uniforme de La Escuela

 

Camisetas / Blusas:  

  • Cualquier color, de un solo color.

  • Camisetas estilo polo de manga corta o larga, para niños y niñas.

  • Las camisetas  deben ir por dentro.

  • No se permite camisetas con logos más grandes que una moneda de 25 centavos, rayas, estampados, diseños, o sin manga.

 

Pantalones/ Pantalones Cortos/ Falda Pantalón/ Faldas/ Vestidos / Capris

  • Solamente colores azul marino o Khaki, de un solo color.

  • Son permitidos: pantalones largos o cortos, vestidos, faldas, faldas pantalón, Capris.

  • Toda prenda debe llegar a la cintura y el filo del pantalón no podrá arrastrar por el piso.

  • Los pantalones cortos, faldas, vestidos, no pueden tener más de 4 pulgadas sobre la rodilla.

  • Si las prendas tienen  presillas, se deberá usar cinturón de un solo color.

  • No se permite: pantalones anchos “baggies”, mallas “leggings”, pantalones apretados “spandex”, jeans (maones).

 

Sweaters/ Chaquetas

  • Solamente azul marino de un solo color, con o sin el logo de la escuela, se permite usar dentro del edificio y en clase.

  • Sombreros, gorras, guantes, abrigos o cualquier otra prenda se pueden usar solamente en días de mucho frío y únicamente fuera del edificio.

  • Camisas de manga larga, que vayan dentro de otra camiseta con manga corta no son permitida.

  • Ninguna prenda puede ir colgada en la cintura.

 

Zapatos y Calcetines

  • Zapatos cerrados, sin tacón, no más de ½ pulgada.  Zapatos “sneakers”  o de cuero son los mejores.

  • Botas, sandalias o plataformas  NO están permitidas.

  • Calcetines o medias de un solo color. “Leggings” pantalones elásticos  sin talón no se permiten.

 

Camiseta con el Logo de la Escuela

  • Camisetas con el  logo de la escuela y de clubs de la escuela podrán usarse únicamente los viernes.

 

¡Qué no se debe usar!

  • Ningún tipo de estilo de cabello llamativo/corte/o color que distraiga la atención de los estudiantes.

  • Ningún tipo de pañuelos, bufandas, diademas anchas, vinchas o  accesorios grandes para el pelo/cabeza.

  • Ningún tipo de tatuaje.

  • Ningún tipo de joya llamativa, sea aretes grandes (pantallas) o collares.

  • Ningún tipo exagerado de manillas o pulseras.

  • Ningunas uñas largas o falsas.

 

Además de esta Políticas Para El Uso Obligatorio Del Uniforme, el Código de Vestido para Estudiantes de Distrito, en el Código de Conducto también es impuesto. La administración de la escuela tiene la decisión final sobre qúe artículos pueden ser usados.

 

Nota: Los estudiantes que llegan a la escuela sin uniforme se le dará un aviso por escrito para llevar a la casa. De cortesía, la primera vez solamente, también se le prestara un uniforme de los que se han donado a la escuela. Si pasa de nuevo, llamaremos a los padres para que traigan el uniforme a la escuela. Pedimos que el uniforme prestado se lave y se devuelva a la escuela. Si esto se repitiera continuamente, la administración escolar llamará a los padres.
